  This 1968 Datsun Bluebird 510 1300 2 door sedan first caught my eye in early 2013, when they were relatively unheard of. at the time I picked it up for what i would now consider daylight robbery: 525,000 LKR!  i had very little idea of its cult status, or rarity. i just fell in love with it the moment i saw it, and i knew this car and i were meant to be. its difficult to explain that feeling, but its one you get when you hold your newborn in your arms for the first time. when you know the world is a better place just like that!  What followed was 8 years of toil and turmoil to restore this car to the vision i had in my mind. that was to pay homage to the great 510 legends of the 70's, tracked and conquered by Peter Brock of Brock Racing Enterprises, or BRE. This is originally a 1300cc GL deluxe trim car.
